Our main goal when manufacturing Microbank™ was to keep the concept simple. In short, a unique barcode is incorporated into the vial label area and on the storage box. The five available colours allow technicians to easily colour code different strains.

- Inoculation: A Microbank™ vial contains treated beads and cryopreservative solution. A microbial suspension is prepared and then introduced to a vial.
- Freezing: Microbank™ freezes cultures to an ultra-low temperature of -70°C, which ensures their long-term stability.
